Juliana is a media professional driven by a deep-seated love for instantaneously delivering news, political, and sports updates to audiences globally. With a wealth of experience as an on-screen political media correspondent, sideline reporter, broadcast journalist, news and sports host, and media production specialist, Juliana presents an abundance of skills.
Currently in her fourth year at Villanova University, she is a dean’s list student pursuing a major in Communications with a specialization in Journalism and Media Production. In addition, she has delved into the realms of philosophy and political science, broadening her knowledge base and enhancing her understanding of the world with an intent to pursue her law degree.
Her college journey is defined by her dedication to refining her abilities as an experienced broadcast journalist and immersing herself in the inner workings of the sports, news, and entertainment industries. Juliana’s objective is to relay facts and information in a captivating way that attracts audiences across various platforms. Whether it’s conducting interviews, reporting directly from the scene, hosting shows, or spearheading PR, marketing, or media production, Juliana is driven to excel and leave a lasting impact on the world.
Juliana possesses a comprehensive background in theater as a performer and in production. She also holds invaluable first-hand knowledge of the sports entertainment industry and the intricacies surrounding modern athletes as a former recruited athlete and robust familial athletic/sports culture.
Her experiences have equipped her with exceptional leadership abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a knack for innovative thinking. M2 PRODUCTIONS (2023 US Open & USTA)
August 2023, Juliana worked with M2 Productions and the United States Tennis Association (USTA) at the US Open in Queens, N.Y., to assist in facilitating field production by covering all ancillary events such as fan activations, pro-arms, player-warm-ups, quick sound bites, and notable attractions for the US Open and USTA’s socials and e-blasts. She conducted interviews with players post-qualifying match wins and with celebrities upon their entrance on the blue carpet to the USTA Foundation’s opening gala. This invaluable experience accelerated Juliana’s professional journey by offering vital opportunities to enrich her skills within the broadcast, media production, PR, and business entities through one of the world’s most profound athletic productions. She has also shadowed and worked with the veteran talent featured at M2 productions to further gain practical knowledge within media production and broadcast.
WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS’ STUDENT ASSOCIATION (AKSM MEDIA)
In her senior year at Villanova, Juliana became a Senior Student White House Correspondent working with AKSM Media. She is the primary broadcast journalist from Villanova. She is responsible for attending political events, reporting on White House activities, monitoring current policy and legislative developments, reporting on current news, interviewing government officials, and analyzing political trends through robust presidency coverage. Juliana also writes political articles to inform and educate the public. This experience enhances her journalism skills as an on-screen talent, correspondent, and media personality.
VILLANOVA ON SET
In March of 2023, Juliana participated in the notable collegiate program, the “Villanova on Set Immersion Program,” held in Los Angeles, C.A., to expand her network, hone her professional skills, and receive insight into the multi-faceted, diverse realm of the film and entertainment industry. She engaged with industry experts there and learned at NBC/Universal, Amazon, Illuminate Hollywood, Vubiquity, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Republic Records, United Talent Agency, and others. This experience deepened Juliana’s comprehension of the industry and assisted in developing critical connections that would further fuel her passion and aspirations.
PHILADELPHIA FLYERS MARKETING ASSOCIATE
During her senior fall semester, Juliana graciously assumed the Philadelphia Flyers Marketing Associate role, where she assists in facilitating team marketing ventures, strategizes game presentation campaigns, conducts outreach initiatives, and assists with further creative activities to drive revenue and enhance ticket sales. Juliana’s further activities of facilitating and helping the franchise objectives through social media management and content creation, promotional events, market research, event planning tasks, data analysis, and targeted campaigns have provided excellent insight into the internal operation of a renowned and successful franchise.
SUPER 7on7 and VILLANOVA SPORTS NOW (NSN)
Juliana’s extensive work as a sideline interviewer, reporter, and content creator gave her a comprehensive understanding of the sports entertainment industry and expertise as a media personality. In January 2023, she joined Sup7r (Super 7on7), now called Boys 7on7 National Championship. She showcased her on-screen abilities and content creation skills while engaging audiences and marketing the brand to increase visibility and drive revenue, propelling NIL support for athletes. As the sideline reporter and interviewer, Juliana provided in-depth coverage of highly recruited high school football players, conducting interviews, and producing media during national 7on7 football events hosted in Naples, FL; Houston, TX; Knoxville, TN; Los Angeles, CA; and Philadelphia, PA.
Additionally, in 2022, her time at Villanova was dedicated to founding Nova Sports Now (NSN), an innovative social media platform and news outlet. She created compelling, informative, and entertaining social media content through NSN focused on Villanova sports. Juliana’s dedication to gaining practical experience is evident in her proactive approach to establishing NSN as a reputable source in the Villanova Sports community to increase player-fan connectivity, boost exposure, and stimulate support.
